Artificial Intelligence Powered Advanced Red Teaming
APART is a genuine red teaming method and originally designed by a diverse group of professionals from a wide spectrum of expertise.
APART, supported by cutting edge technologies -primarily the human-augmented artificial intelligence-, enables planners, decision makers and managers to assess their plans, assumptions and preparedness for the future as well as their current status and performance in multiple scenarios within a plausibility universe through a realistic simulation of threats, adversaries, environment.
Learn MoreAPART offers both active and passive red teaming services at all levels (strategic, operational, tactical) for a wide range of enterprises.
We are now implementing this project on developing imperatives for Homeland Security education. However, APART can implement its know-how to other practice disciplines like Emergency Management with the support of SMEs. This cross-functional human-machine teaming process can be implemented to crucial security and decision-making issues like threat/risk anticipation.
Contemporary improvements in the last decades increased decision tempo and required greater “speed of command”
The speed of information flow and its availability increase the workload of leaders, decision-makers, and staff.
In-house staff are distinguished professionals from a broad spectrum of background and expertise: scholars, IT professionals, AI/ML experts, business professionals and former military officers deeply experienced in homeland security, counter-terrorism, wargaming, strategic management & planning. Where necessary, additional staff is hired ad interim on the basis of case-specific requirements, such as a biochemist, a band of white hat hackers, a cryptologist, or a former agent.

Now that AI is becoming increasingly part of our daily lives, we need to avoid being ruled by machines and their decisions. To this end, we offer Hybrid Intelligence which is a combination of human and machine intelligence, expanding human intellect instead of replacing it. Therefore, human-in-the-loop, cross-functional human-machine teaming, is very first and important pillar of our concept. In software development, we use object ontology which basically describes instances, classes, attributes, and relations. In our concept, rather than relationships, we mainly focus on interconnectivity among people, events, objects, time, locations and the like.
Accordingly, this ontology enables us to develop reusable models and technology applicable to many different cases. Definitely we face the rise of AI but when it comes to algorithmic decision making and red teaming, to address accuracy and privacy concerns is a must not an option. For that reason, we have special focus on accuracy & precision-focused models and privacy-preserving federated algorithms. Lastly, we would like to highlight Hybrid Brain. It is actually a platform which provides interactions & interfaces between AI and Human Agents; and one of its core functions is generating advanced analytics and multiple futures scenario sets.
